Is echomusic free?

Yes, basic use is completely free: profile creation, classifieds, events, matchboard. An optional "Headliner Pass" subscription offers additional features such as detailed statistics.

What languages are available?

echomusic.ch is available in French, German, Italian, and English — the four Swiss national languages plus English.

What is the difference between an Onstage and Backstage account?

Onstage is for active musicians: public profile, discography, events, matchboard, formations. Registration is reviewed by our team to ensure community quality.
Backstage is a simplified account for music classifieds, no approval needed. You can upgrade to Onstage at any time.

Why does my Onstage registration need to be approved?

echomusic is a platform dedicated to musicians. Approval allows us to verify that each profile corresponds to a real music project and to maintain community quality.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, at any time from your account settings. All your personal data will be erased in accordance with our privacy policy.

How do I make my profile publicly visible?

From your dashboard, click "Publish my profile". Your profile will then be accessible to all site visitors.

What is the Matchboard?

The Matchboard is a search tool exclusive to Onstage members. It allows you to find musicians by instrument, music genre, level, and canton — ideal for forming a band or finding a replacement.

What is a formation / Line-up?

A band, duo, collective, or music project. You can create one, invite other members, and jointly manage your formation page with discography, events, and news.

What can I post in The Depot?

Music-related classifieds: instruments for sale, wanted, or rent, rehearsal spaces, music gear. Off-topic classifieds will be removed.

How long does a classified stay online?

Classifieds automatically expire after 30 days. You can also mark them as concluded manually at any time.

How do I add an event?

From your dashboard, "Concerts & Events" section. You can create your own events or join existing events from the calendar.

Can I suggest an event without being registered?

Yes, the event suggestion page is accessible to everyone. Your suggestion will be reviewed by our team before publication.

How do I report a problem or suggest an idea?

From your dashboard, "Feedback" section. You can send a bug report, idea, or improvement suggestion. You can also track the status of your feedback and vote on community feedback.
